In 2005 Vhelbherg an indigenous leak repair company was contacted by Oil Company with a request to offer a solution to a leak on the DRT casing outlet upstream the VR plug position. This leak was caused by a deep hacksaw cut measuring about 3” length by ¼” width. This leak although contained is a concern to client. Several applications have been carried out by some multinational companies without any solution. This same leak has been patched by some big companies and cold welded without success.
